Josh is a longtime Wyoming native and obtained a B.S., B.A., and Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming (Go Pokes!). Originally on a trajectory to pursue a career in medicine, Josh discovered a love for the art and impact of the written word which set him on a different path.

Josh is licensed to practice law in the state of Wyoming, as well as patent law before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (by nature of his technical background in the biological sciences).

Among his relevant experiences, Josh has worked in an intellectual property office managing IP portfolios, for the Wyoming Attorney General as a contracts specialist, and for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming as a manager of third party vendor relationships. Josh has substantial experience in transactional work involving the drafting, review, and interpretation of contract language in a number of fields, both ordinary and technical, and its application to real-world issues. Josh’s other experiences vary between such diverse fields as paraprofessional support in a residential treatment setting, computer maintenance/repair, and construction.

Josh is happily married to the most kindhearted woman he’s ever known. They expect to become parents for the first time in late 2025. He and Rose have a Husky mix and Corgi who invent new methods of mischief every day. Josh and Rose enjoy relaxing in the Adirondack chairs they built with their own hands, going on weekend coffee dates, and taking leisurely strolls through the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens. They are regular attendees at the Cheyenne Berean Church.
